It is true. Your skin is always shedding.

Your skin is the largeest organ in your boody. It covers your whole body like wrapper. And every minute, you lose about 30,000 to 40,000 dead skin cells.___ In one day, that is almost 500 million cells. In one year, you lose about 3.5kg of skin. Yes, 3.5kg!

That house dust you see on your table, fan, and bed — 50% to 70% of it is dead skin. Your own skin.__You are liteerally breathing and sleepingg inside your old body.

Why does it shed? Because your skin reneews itself every 27 daays. It makes new skin under, and pushes old skin up. Old one falls off. That is why wound heals. That is why when you bleaach or scrubb, new skin comes.

Your skin does 4 big jobs: It protects you from gernms, controls your body temmperature (when you sweat), feels paain and touch, and makes Vitammin D from sun.

And it has 3 layeers — Epidermis (outside), Dermis (middle with sweat and hair), Hypodermmis (inside with fat).

I found it crazy that we are walking dust factory. Everywhere you sit, you leave small part of yourself. Your house dust is mostly you.
