Market Friday Goes House Hunting
And it has been a long week... I have been so tired every night, literally crashing into bed and asleep within 0-10 minutes of my head hitting the pillow! My mind has also been preoccupied with a big off-chain meeting that I had to attend (which ended up going better than expected thank goodness) and some on-chain stuff that I have been working on that had me feeling a bit up and down all week but the week has ended on the up 🙂.
But finally... the weekend... and to #marketfriday we go...

Right, so let's see how I did as I explored my local supermarket looking for my little precious treasures 😂😂😂
Now I found a few bubbly things that I liked...what do you think of these?
Can you guess my favourite?... what do you think I couldn't keep my eyes off? Well my favourite 'healthy' cola is amongst these... a gorgeous rose lemonade which is to die for... and some really yummy looking flavoured tonic waters for summer. However it definitely has to be that beautiful lime breeze candle that wins the day! It had preserved pressed flowers in resin around the edges and then a beautiful scented candle in the middle... the funny thing is... all the other candles DID NOT have bubbles in the resin... so this one must have been defective... but I was drawn to it... It was super pretty in the hand and smelt glorious... in fact I think I may need to go back tomorrow and buy it!!! In hindsight, I actually cannot believe that I put it down... I mean I only spent like 10 minutes turning it over, admiring it, and breathing in its beautiful scent... (and it won the bubbly award...go figure!!!) ❤️
Something prickly
I came across these little prickly plants, which were cute, but... I reckon I could even kill a succulent or cactus given half the chance🤣 (although I have to say that my baby Sherman is alive and flourishing... so I do get some things right!!!) so for my something prickly it had to be a lovely juicy pineapple... so so yum... I cut one up 2 days ago and now I am lus for more... haha what you think @penderis ?
Something nice to smell
Oh man... I was wondering around in the homestyle aisles of the supermarket, rounded the corner and the wave of scent hit me straight up the nostrils haha. Gosh it was a confusion of mixed sweet scents all vying for the space to compete... lots of shelves of scented candles including the famous Yankee candles. I particularly loved the Daisy fields and Lemon scented ones. The Cherry and Tropical Fruit versions were also rather attractive. They had a nice variety of actual candles with wicks, wax melts, and airosols.

But these things really did call out to me as I walked past them in the store today... and I could not resist 3 of them... can you guess which 3 I actually bought today? The first person to guess right wins 2 HBI. (one guess each)

Why do I feel like the book was what actually called your name the loudest and you couldn't resist not buying it 😃😜. I love scented candles especially at night, it makes the whole place smell really nice and I feel like some scents are aphrodisiacs...hehehe. anyways pineapple is definitely something prickly. The lime breeze candle kinda seemed like it was an answer to the scavenger hunt. It was bubbly, smelt nice and also called your name.
hahaha yes, that book really did call my name Zyzy 💗 I bought it! I think I am going to have to do it myself. The closest I got is this lemonade, which sounds pretty refreshing. I like the way all the Dreemteem went out and did the scavenger hunt! What fun. Some day, I hope to get more time to participate in these things. I cut myself a pretty short string right now.

My apologies for being so late this week! As you can see from my post, I was looking at a piece of property, probably three hours away from where I live and I had to go back several days in a row (spending all day there.) Six hours on the road and being there for hours took my entire day away, and here I am on Monday doing #MarketFriday! Sorry!
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Gotta love you, Julia❣️ You were spot on haha. And I went back for the lime-scented candle today ... and the bubbly one was still there. It smells divine. We love granadillas in our home aka passion fruit so those were a definite into the trolley... and finally... yep the root beer hehe... after trying it in California, I thought my boys would like the experience too! I need to see if I can suss out some more variety though. Sainbury's only had this one brand... and I have no idea what it is like! And yeah, I like Sainsbury's too! Our local store is a medium size store... they have a bigger one about 5-10 miles away that has a much better selection of things, but I can't stand the drive through the town centre, and the layout of the store is unfamiliar to me so shopping takes me too long if I go in person. Your 2HBI has been purchased and should reflect in your PeakD wallet balance soon... it is like the old SBI (Steem Basic Income) instead it is HBI (Hive Basic Income) !LUV !ALIVE

The Yankee Candle?? Is it also juice or what? In fact the Green cola looks strange to me too 😂😂 I haven't seen them before.

hehe no, the Yankee candle is actually just a candle... I thought it was a resin around the inside of the glass preserving the flowers but I felt it yesterday and it is like a squishy but firm gel. The green cola is really nice...it has natural caffeine from green coffee beans, and uses stevia plant and sucralose for sweetness, has no preservatives, no sugar, no aspartame. So as healthy as you can get, IMHO. !ALIVE
