Good evening to you too! (24 hours later 😃)

There is no specific "agenda" behind this post, but more a general overview... I saw many people coming and going, and usually those who go away did it because they got into the "bad community", or maybe bad reasons... I don't know...

The whole point (not just in HIVE) is to spend quality time with good people, and to ignore bad ones... I don't see a reason to lose time to bad actors...

This advice is very good! 😃 I'm trying to stick to the same!

A few words from a friend are my current driving force... that's also what Hive has given me... friends.

I am also not obsessed with publishing, nor with demonstrating "commitment." Does stopping publishing mean stopping being a hivian? I think not necessarily.

That's also a good point of view... I was publishing posts like crazy a few years ago... During one period, I was doing like 3 daily posts on 3 different accounts, this one, my Actifit account, and Splinterlands post! Those were crazy days...

On the other side, I decided to do more posts like this one... To share my view about things, and to attract people who think similarly... According to some comments, these posts help people to push through hard times, and I'm happy when I read that! If they do that, my mission is accomplished!

In short, in Hive there must be many definitions of success.

Absolutely! It's different to different people... While I said that I will not power down my HivePower ever, I do understand that the HIVE value is important to many... Not just as a purchasing value, but also as a driving force to people to stay active...

Maybe these posts help to certain people and motivate them to do better, but monetary value could drive some other people... Let's try to keep them both... :)
