I agree with your outlook, but I think the biggest issue with the network now is that we are not getting many new users, and the existing users are slowly getting fed up with the issues such as DHF that are not resolvd.

I'm probably among those who are fed up with certain things on HIVE... As a matter of fact, that's one of the reasons behind writing this post (and some older ones)... Just to remind people about the bigger picture, and values behind the money...
