Good day everyone! It is indeed a lovely day. I went with @xykorlz and his parents to their farm after my morning duty. As we arrived at their farm, the clouds looked terrific and pretty so we took a picture but it is better with the naked eye. So I will use it as my thumbnail for this blog.
What we have seen are rainbows behind those clouds. It looked like a prism and in some other posts we have seen in facebook there was unusual happening behind those clouds it was called "Crown flash".
A crown flash is an extremely rare meteorological phenomenon, which typically appears above thunderstorms and constantly realigns itself, creating beams of light.
Crown flash is a rarely observed meteorological phenomenon involving "The brightening of a thunderhead crown followed by the appearance of aurora-like streamers emanating into the clear atmosphere".
That only means that the rainbow-looking we have seen is the after-effect of that phenomenon.
If you want to watch that scene there is a video that was taken anonymously by one of the Filipinos click here.
Giving you a history of this Calamansi and lemon farm. It was around 2 years ago when @xykorlz and his father were planning to build and improve their farm. We started to plant the first Meyer lemons and around 5 Calamansi plant which is around 12-inch tall, grafted ones. We made an effort to clear the tall grass and dig to plant these grafted Calamansi and Lemon. It is quite fulfilling to see that these plants are now turning into trees and we could even harvest from them.
Luckily they have found a good caretaker named Kuya Jun, to maintain the cleanliness of their calamansi farm. He trims and mowers the grass to prevent them from pestering the trees.
For more fruitful years!
