Hello music lovers and Hello hivers!

It's Tuesday which means I need my inspiration time!!

I love bright colours

I love blue of course, bright blue from the sky is gorgeous, as is the sun and yellow.

So today we shall be having three songs from Coldplay. I shall tell you why later on in the post.

It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!

@ablaze started #ttt 193 weeks ago! Go check out what it is all about on his last post Sprints for Three Tune Tuesday - Week 193 - win 5 HBI

Do go support @ablaze as without him we would not have this mental fun musical activity that you can win HSBI from! I am happy to be one of the FIVE sponsors and it is kinda fun checking out music from all over this global village of ours!

Long live #ttt 😁🎼 and #threetunetuesday

Where to start

I was bemoaning the grey winter weather here with @nancybriti1 when lo and behold she shared the song Yellow from Coldplay.

And bam a ttt was born from that comment yesterday.

Who are Coldplay

Coldplay were formed in London in 1997 and are a British rock band. They are one of the biggest music selling acts of all time with over 100 million albums sold.

They have also taken the environment seriously.

Coldplay is known for its commitment to environmental sustainability.

Did you know that for their 2022 Music of the Spheres tour, they implemented several eco-friendly initiatives. I had vaguely heard of them, but a refresh via gemini showed me:

Renewable energy: Coldplay used solar panels, kinetic dance floors, and energy bikes to power their concerts with renewable energy.
Sustainable stage production: The stage was built using recycled and sustainable materials, and they used biodegradable confetti.
Reforestation: The band pledged to plant a tree for every ticket sold, contributing to global reforestation efforts.
Sustainable travel: They encouraged fans to use low-carbon transportation options and offset the carbon footprint of their own travel.

Good on them.

But we are here to listen to some tunes!

Tune 1 Coldplay - Yellow

Possibly the most iconic song from Coldplay, Yellow was on Coldplay's debut album Parachutes which was released in 2000.

You might recognise it without knowing why, as it is had been used all over the place.

It is very apt, as the video looks like my weather just now, grey lol and the beach and sea, well yeah that could be the same.

This is the song that put Coldplay on the map.

Tune 2 Coldplay - The Scientist

To show how big they are, this video has amassed 1.2 billion views.

Don't I wish I had a penny for each of those views lol!

If you were watching, yes your eyes aren't deceiving you.

The video was played backwards.

Chris Martin lead vocalist is so recognisable, don't you think?

Awesome lyrics, nobody said it was going to be easy.

There really are so many tunes to pick from, and I spent too long this morning listening to see what I should pick for you!

But fluff it, stick with your gut, is what I tell people, something @enyitee is a fan of I know!

So here is my original third choice!

Tune 3 Coldplay - Viva La Vida (Live In SΓ£o Paulo)

A true test of musical genius is when you see or hear a band/musician perform live.

We close out this ttt with a massive even anthem like song.

Viva La Vida was released in 2008 but we are live in Brazil in 2017.

I love the use of the bell, AC/DC fans might remember the fluff off big bell I showed on one of my previous ttt posts!

Right then, I am sure you know of Viva La Vida!

Which was your favourite? Or is it another Coldplay tune?

Note: The 3 YouTube videos that I have shared are not owned by me, I am simply spreading great music on Hive.

I wish that you all have a brilliant happy and prosperous New Year in 2025 and until we meet again enjoy your tunes 🎢🎡🎢

Thanks for visiting!

Thank you so much :)

When i saw your post i thought ohh its Tuesday another back to the 80s😁

NaN BEE

hehe not as far back this time, and they still release records and tour too!

NaN BEE

Ohhh how do you get inspired to know the particular music to go for every Tuesday?

NaN BEE

I enjoy Coldplay, but I have never been a huge fan of theirs. Like I won't change the channel if they come on, but I don't sit and say to myself man I'd love to hear some Coldplay right now. My wife on the other hand does enjoy them a bit more than me and I just found out my niece really likes them. She is going to see them in Tennessee this summer.

NaN BEE

I seem to not hear their music in so far as I hear them but I don't go searching for them if that makes sense.
Oh I wonder how much your niece's ticket is? I bet not cheap.

NaN BEE

No, I don't think it was very cheap. Plus she has the travel expenses too. It sounds like @mrsbozz and I might be heading down that way to chaperone, but not attend the concert.

NaN BEE

I always have them in my spotify playlist and listen to them whenever I travel far with my motorbike. Love their song, and it always make me sing on my ride. hahah
!LOLZ !PIZZA great selection Ed

NaN BEE

Ah yes Eka some of their music is brilliant for travelling!

NaN BEE

Ah Coldplay. They had a concert here last year I think and my reaction was.
Who are they? πŸ˜‚

I am more familiar with Westlife πŸ˜†

NaN BEE

Westlife hahahaha no comment

NaN BEE

I loved them all! they are my favorites! 🧑

NaN BEE

I see Chris from Yellow and obviously he has gained not only money and fame, but also muscles hahahaha! All the songs you selected I liked, but if I have to choose between the three, I'll choose Viva la vida! A real anthem, as you say. I'm glad I was able to inspire you! I hope it will always be like that. A hug, friend and greetings from this sea with bright sun (Girl with dark glasses)

NaN BEE

Haha he really did workout or get some muscles!
I was going to say as you inspired me then it would make sense to have a Spanish name as my favourite!
A big hug to the girl with dark glasses!

NaN BEE

Personally I believe Coldplay fell off after the first two albums. Those two were amazing!!!

NaN BEE

Many bands I prefer their early stuff. Once they make it and get famous they change from their roots.

I love Coldplay's music , excellent selection you included my favorite β€œViva la vida”.
Greetings @tengolotodo and thanks for sharing your music.

NaN BEE

You are welcome and I think Viva La Vida could be my favourite too!

NaN BEE

Still not familiar with them😌😌. But their songs are cool.

NaN BEE

Hehe I am glad you like them!

NaN BEE

I love Coldplay so much, Yellow is my favorite song of all time and I don’t even like the color lol. The song feels like the color. It’s beautiful ✨

NaN BEE

Hehe that is cool you like them! That surprised me and Yellow is a banger of a tune.

NaN BEE

I love Coldplay, Super Ed! It's the kind of music that automatically improves my mood if I'm having a bad day.

And a post about them without Viva La Vida wouldn't be complete, hehe.

But, one of my favorites is
