Hello music lovers and Hello hivers!
Today is Christmas Eve and for some people Noche Buena is when they have their big meal, well it will be Christmas lunch for us tomorrow!
Merry Christmas and some of you might guess the music we will be listening to as the clue is in the title....
It's Tuesday and of course that means it's inspiration time!!
It is Tuesday and also Christmas Eve and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!
@ablaze started #ttt 187 weeks ago! Go check out what it is all about on his last post Leonard Cohen for Three Tune Tuesday - Week 186 - win 5 HBI
Do go support @ablaze as without him we would not have this mental fun musical activity that you can win HSBI from! I am happy to be one of the FIVE sponsors and it is kinda fun checking out music from all over this global village of ours!
It is Christmas time and I seem to be loving it like I did when I was a kid!
I had Alexa playing Christmas songs yesterday and this first one came on and I was hell yeah why haven't I played Barenaked Ladies on a ttt!
First of all let's hear .....
Barenaked Ladies (also known as BNL are a Canadian rock band who formed in 1988 in the Toronto suburb of Scarborough, Ontario. I have no idea if the Canadian Scarborough is on the coast like our Scarborough in the UK.
I digress BNL are known for their quirky, catchy tunes and witty lyrics.
This carol is one of their best known tunes taken from the 2000 album called BARENAKED for the HOLIDAYS.
What would you do with a million dollars?
So this is a whimsical song of theirs and from their 1992 album Gordon. This catchy tune humorously lists all the things Ed Robertson would buy for their loved one if they were rich, from a house and a car to "a monkey."
It's a playful take on love and materialism, showcasing their signature wit and quirky charm which is no surprise that they did infact write and perform the bonus tune for a very famous TV show...
So perhaps with a million dollars you could buy loads of Christmas decorations like ....
... Jingle Bells yeah could buy a fair few of them with a million dollars!
Jingle Bells as you haven't heard it before and taken from their album Barenaked for the Holidays.
A fun song and appropriate carol for todays ttt!
Of course to close this ttt out, we have to go to a tune that you may well not know but was specifically written for the show by Barenaked Ladies ....
Note: The 4 YouTube videos that I have shared are not owned by me, I am simply spreading great music on Hive.
I wish that you all have a brilliant rest of your week, and until we meet again enjoy your tunes ๐ถ๐ต๐ถ

Magic thank you and Merry Christmas
Oh I remember Scrubs. There were also complete Soundtrack albums per Season with all the music they included into the show. Brought me to a lot of Artists I did not know then. Barenaked Ladies was one of them. Fantastic Music. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Merry Christmas.
