Hello Music lovers..
It's another beautiful Tuesday which means sharing great tunes here on the blockchain, initiated by @ablaze. All thanks to him as I've discovered lots of music through this wonderful initiative and I always look forward to Tuesdays on the chain.
While shopping at the mall today, I heard someone call my name and when I looked behind it was Maltida, my high school mate. I screamed in excitement as we exchanged pleasantries. Meeting her brought back so many memories of us in high school.
Although we didn't talk for long cause we were both in a hurry, we exchanged contacts and promised to catch up with each other soon. Maltida looked so beautiful as ever and of course I didn't hold back from complimenting her appearance.
This reminded me so much of high school and I kept wondering how the rest were faring. Some have left the country for good, some are in another state, others are doing just okay and still some might be struggling, but I hope when life brings us together we will still be friends.
I remember vividly how I felt on my graduation day in high school. The hugs, promises, tears, wishes and all. We hope we would be young forever and we would have enough time for each other. As I grow older I realized that life often gets in the way and sometimes we become overwhelmed and forget to even check up on each other.
Sadly some now feel even too big to reach out and when you do, they just read your chat and ignore.. Hmmm that's what comes with growing up. I guess we outgrow people as we grow older.
This song hits the right spot everytime I listen to it. That's because each and everyone of us have lost so many people on the way, just like we've also gained so some as we journey through life.
To the ones who have stuck with us, we say cheers to our friendship and we hope the friendship wax stronger and to those we've lost on the way, we say cheers to the memories we've shared.
Everyone we meet in life has a purpose and our journey in life wouldn't have been complete without them in the picture.
I would love to conclude this week's #ttt with this amazing song from Justin Bieber. It's one of my favorite songs from Justin Bieber and listening to it makes me feel so good and happy.
