I’m actually not sure what an ornamental lake is. It looks like a natural lake to me, but there are some wild flowers growing around it in the spring/summer.
Yes, it’s a lovely place in the centre of the city. There are 2 more lakes in this park - one cemented all around and they drain it in winter, then another one enclosed and with many ducks and swans 🦢
I read it off the map. In the park, you have a lake by the graveyard (that's probably the thing with the ducks), then you have the reservoir there, which is drained for the winter. And the last one is the lake where your photo is from. According to the map, it is called "Ornamental Lake".
