We have some opera in German, but it's usually not very easy to understand anyway, at least when sung. But I think most are written in Italian.

Yeah, once we saw an opera in French (my mother tongue) and even then it was very hard to understand any of the lyrics. But for this one, in English, it wasn't bad, could follow it fairly easily. Good show. Now I need to read the book, or maybe watch the series at least.
