That's sounds pretty intense. I felt similar when I came down from the mountain last week. 2h climbing up, 5h hacking and beating the fire, then 2h climbing down. The refreshments offered by the indigenous community down at the starting point never tasted so good...

Just realized your post. Are you working for the fire fighters?
Among many others, yes. It was mostly indigenous from the communities up there. Many fire fighters, too, but mainly civilians. Quite the experience.
