Actifit Updates - Q1 Recap

We wanted to share a quick recap of the recent updates that Actifit has been up to since the beginning of the year.
We've been pretty well focused on boosting our hive experience and front-end support, as well as collabs/integrations to hive communities, providing many new services previously unavailable via actifit experience and actifit.io.

If you've been following up on our weekly updates, you probably have a good grasp, yet we thought of putting this summary in a single post to highlight the work done.

Although we're excited about the current progress, we believe we could have been moving much faster if our DHF proposal had received funding. So far we've had support from more than 530 hive members (Thank you!), we would appreciate your support to get it funded and help out with our costs and our growth.

Dev Updates Q1

We've had more than 10 release updates since 2023 kicked off. Below is a quick summary of the headlines and linked announcements posts:

• Blogging Via Actifit Web: We have fully integrated a blogging experience, that allows users to create hive posts (non-actifit content), but also a full view to their own blog content on Actifit.io web. Details
• 3Speak Integration on Actifit Web: We have integrated the video content display of all 3speak content for the user on actifit.io, but also enabled embedded play of the videos. Our video creation is almost ready for release (testing phase). We also span off 2 video encoder nodes in addition to our existing speak network validation node. Details
• Curator Navigation View & Comments Screen: We created a special curator navigation view to allow easy navigation of posts/reports/comments, but also a user-centric comments view on actifit web. Details
• POSH Integration: we integrated POSH onto the actifit.io web user experience. Details
• Wallet Revamp: we've made substantial improvements to our web wallet experience, including but not limited to UX/UI, but also full support for hive-engine tokens. Details 1, Details 2
• Keychain Integration: we have fully integrated keychain onto the actifit.io login experience. Details
• New Markdown Editor Integration: our old markdown editor had several issues and was missing features, so we integrated a more robust one. Details
• UX/UI Improvements: Basically a big facelift across many areas of the web experience has been implemented. Details

As well as many bug fixes and minor features/improvements, but also the management of our different nodes.

Our upcoming Development pipeline is quite extensive, and new items have come up since we compiled the list at the end of 2022. View current pipeline

New Initiatives/Collabs Q1

• Curation Effort Revamp & OCD Collab: We've been running our own curation initiative for years on actifit. We wanted to create a new approach that would increase rewards for our users and motivate for better quality content. So curation reports came to live thanks to support by OCD. Details
• Actifitter of the Week: Similarly to the above, and as the new top author hive initiative came to fruition, we had our actifit community join in support of this. Details
• Giveaways: In addition to our existing giveaways, we really liked what dcrops team is up to in terms of initiatives and giveaways, so we support whenever the chance presents itself with AFIT tokens. Details

We also have many other initiatives brewing to which discussions have started and should be seeing the light soon.
