That owl enclosure sneaking up on you with the "who who who" calls, that’s the kind of unexpected moment that makes zoo lights worth it. Did you notice how the darkness made their silhouettes feel almost mythical against the lights? The sound alone was enough to send a chill down my spine. Like I said, some of the pieces had sound and movement, so it kind of threw me at first. I thought it was all part of the show until I realized it wasn't.
