It was really amazing! I can only imagine it is a shadow of what Holland the country is like.
My sister was actually there last year and I could see the similarity comparing her pictures with yours. Overall I think it's only about a larger surface covered with tulips and with more colors than what you found in Michigan, but they both are amazing places for sure!
