That whole stretch through there is really nice. I saw a pretty wacky theory recently about the Great Lakes being man made reservoirs.
There is this Instagram account I follow where they speculate that there was an advanced global civilization before us called the Tartarians and that the history was rewritten to benefit others and that the buildings from the World's Fairs were old Tartarian structures. Like the ones from the World's Fair in Chicago 1893. They were said to be temporarily structures and were torn down but they don't look very temporary.
Also seemingly unrelated to that they found a stone hinge like spot under Grand Traverse Bay which must have been built before the level of Lake Michigan was as high as it is today.
There is a lot of history up there one way or another. I'm not really sure we really know the true history of this world. It's interesting to think about.
Can't say as though I have heard that one before. There are definitely a lot of unexplained things in the world. I tend to be a bit more skeptical I guess. The beauty is quite astounding for sure!
