That looks really nice! I need something like that for my roof... It's nice to have a roof terrace, but the sun can be a beast here. But the daily winds are, too, so I need something very solid. I might just make that my next project...

Yeah, I hear you. We put this up mainly because the evening sun pounds on this side of the house. Coastal winds can be brutal, so you definitely want something that can handle those speeds.
Not coast here, but mountains. The valley is quite wide, so it's not super-hard-core, but I'm the slope of the mountain. And the difference in temperature between 4000m and 2000m alone makes for a good wind, adding the difference between a night with no clouds and a full sun day... Physics can bite hard.
