What a beautiful building. I was in Cleveland in 1970, on a temporary detail (I worked for the government at the time). All I remember is the motel and a suburban strip mall. I didn't have a car--anyway, I didn't know how to drive. I think I missed out on some great stuff. Although, back in the 70s Cleveland was mostly known for the river the caught fire.

I'm guessing the city was very different back then, though the market would have been there. A lot of the stuff around the market is very new construction. I'll cover that in a future post though.
