Mianwali Punjab Emergency Service Mianwali issued the Annual Performance Report 2024 on the direction of District Emergency Officer Engineer Naveed Iqbal.
Last year in 2024, the control room received a total of 130688 calls. Out of which 28897 were emergency calls.28893 people were rescued during the year. Apart from this, Rescue 1122 dealt with 4369 road traffic accidents, 20908 medical emergencies, 334 fire accidents, 669 crime emergencies, 38 drowning accidents and 1835 miscellaneous accidents.In the year 2024, on the direction of the Punjab government, Dawood Khel station was started in order to provide service at the town station level for the residents of Mianwali district.Besides, under the organization of Community Safety Wing, Pakistan Life Saver Program, Prime Minister CPR Program, Basic Life Support Program, training workshops were organized in various private and government institutions. In total, 3 thousand volunteers were registered and trained.
