For wallet management and staking/unstaking, Hive Engine is great. For trading Layer 2 tokens, not so much. When it comes to buying or selling tokens, LeoDex is cheaper. Cheaper than LeoDex are liquidity pools where you find them, but the pools need to exist for both.
I do most of my trades using LeoDex, and it sends me to Hivesigner each time. I'm not sure what's happening where Hivesigner works for me but not for you. Then again, I'm locked out of D.Buzz and have to use PeakD to reply, so I don't know.

LeoDex doesn’t use Hivesigner, a big negative for me. Meh, hoping H-E fixes the bug.

It's got a lot of bugs and honestly I liked the old UI a lot better. It was easier to navigate and took less clicks to do a lot of things.
