That meeting between Qatar's PM and Trmup right after the strike on Doha says a lot about how fast the lines are being redrawn. If they lean on backchannels and real US leverage to cool things, talking beats bombing every time, even if the rooms are cold enough to freeze coffee. This is when diplomcy has to do teh heavy lifting, because the costs are already way too high.

Agree. Diplomacy efforts must be exhausted before going to all out war.
Same page here, exhausting diplom;acy first is defintely the wiser path. It means real pressure and incentives, with clear red lines, so talks actually stick and civilians aren't caught in taht spiral. Once guns start doing the talking, options shrink fast and the costs never match the gains.
