Philippines Inspiration for three tune tuesday 130

Hello Hello to all you wonderful Hivians

For once I am early, I have stuff to do so thought I would post tomorrow's post today!

It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!

Long live #ttt 😁🎼 and #threetunetuesday

I love three tune tuesday annd usually throughout the week there is something that springs into my head and a ttt is born.

This week ....

Nothing!

My mind went blank, no ispiration no muse No nothing!

Then I had a double whammy of inspiration. First of all I was listening to TalkSport and they had an interview with Ellie Butler.

Who the fluff is Ellie Butler you might ask, well I certainly did.

Turns out that she won the Karaoke World Championships in 2023 last week that were held in Panama. Second was a Filipina Rafaella Joy Berso and another Filipina
Marian Gel Pesigan won the viewers choice vote!

I have known many Filipinas in my lifetime ever since I had a wonderful housemaid who looked after me in Gabon in Africa.

I often would come home and find her cooking over the stove with a bottle as a microphone belting out some popular hit or other!

Trust me when I say they love to sing karaoke, in fact I am sure that is their national pastime!

It was no surprise then to see two lovely singers at the top of winners lists.

That was my first inspiration. The next one again was a Philippines inspiration.

I was speaking to a lovely Filipina whom I have know for forever it seems and I asked her to listen and give me the very first answer she thought of.

This then sparked a sentimental ttt post, and I am guessing a shock for many of my listeners!

So the three tunes coming up are the three songs from this wonderful lady who I know will be reading this...

Chiqui Pineda - HOW DID YOU KNOW

This one took me by surprise and set the tone for the post. I was about 100% sure she would tell me a Filipino singer, but this song blew my socks away.

I wonder if @lhes and @ifarmgirl know this one!

I must point out I asked that question of mine about 9am, it is now 7.34pm so in the interim I have been listened to a heck of alot of these songs.

Alexa even asked me if I was feeling okay, did she need to call the doctor🤣

The next song is from her favourite artist. No surprises he is also from The Philippines.

Christian Bautista - Beautiful Girl

Okay this boy, boy lol he is 42 but not only is he devilish handsome he is a fantastic singer.

I totally get why she said he is her favourite singer.

I spend lots of the afternoon listening to him perform duets with various female artists.

Christian Joseph Morata Bautista (born October 19, 1981) is a Filipino singer, actor, host, and model. He was a finalist of Star in a Million, a Philippine reality show aired on ABS-CBN channel, winning 4th place in the competition in 2003. After the contest, he signed a recording contract with Warner Music Philippines and released his self-titled debut album, Christian Bautista

I wonder what @ruffatotmeee and @jane1289 think of him as you tend to not like my normal ttt musical posts hehe is this more of your taste @pinkchic...

The last tune is a fluffing banger and comes from a wonderful musical.

Zac Efron, Zendaya - Rewrite The Stars

A change of direction to finish with two American artists, although Zendaya's father is African-American, with Nigerian ancestry and her mother has German and Scottish ancestry. That is some heritage @wongi I wonder if you could practise your German with her!

So we finish today's ttt with Can't Stand Losing you which is one of my all time favourite songs.
