The Money in the Bank Ladder Match is a type of match carried out by WWE. They are fights between 5 to 10 WWE wrestlers who have to escort a briefcase that is 6 meters high in the ring, which is also known as ladder fights.

What does the briefcase contain?

Well, it contains a contract that gives you the right to one of the top WWE championships, which are: (WWE Universal Championship, WWE Championship, Raw Women's Championship and the SmackDown Women's Championship). And it is valid for one year until the next tournament is held.

The first time this WWE Money in The Bank event appeared in 2005 was at the WrestleMania 21 event. Currently the bearers of the briefcase are Damian Priest and Iyo Sky who redeemed their briefcases and won their respective championship.

The creator of this event was the wrestler Chris Jericho who combined the fight of Raw and SmackDown! Qualifying fights were also introduced.
