Phone Photography Contest #77: Laying Optical Fiber. EN/ESP.

Greetings, community, happy Sunday to all, and my best wishes to you and your relatives.

Recently I had to go to the Pedagogic in Caracas, and when I was on the way, I got, with a crew of workers from a private company, who was doing the insertion of fiber optic cables, to an area of Paradise.

The most interesting thing about this process is that today there are several private companies, plus the State company, that are offering the fiber optic service for Internet connection, this level of competition has really been beneficial for us as inhabitants of the sector, since companies, lower prices or offer more services for a cheaper amount to be able to compete.

At first, there was only one company in the area where I live and that company, having no competition, charged very high prices.

Now in the area, there are six companies offering the services, and the first company that abused the prices, is no longer seen in the area, because it was displaced by the competition.

That's one of the few good things about capitalism, competition and the quality of services.

Hace poco tuve que ir al Pedagógico de Caracas, y al ir por el camino, me conseguí, con una cuadrilla de trabajadores de una empresa privada, que estaba haciendo la inserción de los cables de fibra óptica, hacia una zona del Paraíso.

Lo más interesante de este proceso, es que hoy en día son varias empresas privadas, más la empresa del Estado, que están ofreciendo el servicio de fibra óptica para la conexión a internet, este nivel de competencia, realmente ha sido beneficioso para nosotros como habitantes del sector, ya que las empresas, bajan precios o frecen mas servicios por un monto más económico para poder competir.

En un primer momento, solo había una empresa en el área donde vivo y esa empresa al no tener competencia, cobraba precios muy altos.

Ahora en la zona, hay seis empresas ofreciendo los servicios, y la primera empresa que abusaba de los precios, ya ni se ve en la zona, debido a que fue desplazada por la competencia.

Esa es una de las pocas cosas buenas que tiene el capitalismo, la competencia y la calidad de los servicios.
