A few days ago, I went out to the center of Caracas to go get an adapter for my video card, and when I left the place where I made the purchase, I decided to walk to the house and, in doing so, I walked all along Av. Baralt.

Hace unos días, salí al centro de Caracas para ir a buscar un adaptador para mi tarjeta de video, y cuando salí del lugar donde realicé la compra, decidí irme caminando a la casa y, al hacerlo, caminé por toda la Av. Baralt.

And I was very struck by the sight of several guys doing exercises in the center. And that was happening right in Miranda Square.

Y me llamó mucho la atención el ver a varios muchachos haciendo ejercicios en pleno centro. Y eso sucedía justo en la plaza Miranda.

As I approached the square, I could see part of the remodeling and restoration work that the mayor's office of Caracas has been doing, in the different squares and public spaces of the city. And really, the recovery of those spaces was excellent.

Al acercarme a la plaza, pude ver parte del trabajo de remodelación y restauración que viene realizando la alcaldía de Caracas, en las diferentes plazas y espacios públicos de la ciudad. Y de verdad, que la recuperación de esos espacios fue excelente.

In fact, I could see mothers taking their children to play, young and old people doing sports and some students, sitting on a bench chatting. I also saw the new police module and the maintenance and cleanliness of the area was noticeable.

De hecho, pude ver a madres llevando a sus hijos a jugar, jóvenes y personas mayores haciendo deportes y a unos estudiantes, sentados en un banco conversando. También vi el nuevo módulo de la policía y se notaba el mantenimiento y la limpieza del área.
