Today, I went to the market with my mother, and I really had a lot of fun walking with her among the peddlers who sold food, utensils and other products on the street.
El día de hoy, fui al mercado con mi madre, y de verdad me divertí mucho al caminar con ella entre los buhoneros que vendían comida, utensilios y otros productos en la calle.
We could also see the quality of the food and the difference in prices that there was between the peddlers and the commercial premises. And I was very struck by the fact that there were peddlers with goods of the same brand and quality, at a much higher price than in commercial premises.
También pudimos ver la calidad de los alimentos y la diferencia de precios que había entre los buhoneros y los locales comerciales. Y me llamó, mucho la atención, el hecho de que había buhoneros con mercancías de la misma marca y calidad, a un precio mucho mayor que en los locales comerciales.
That fact I found it very interesting, since unlike commercial premises, they do not have to pay so many taxes, but only a permit to be able to place their stall. But I imagine they charge the buyers, what the police charge them for not disturbing them.
Ese hecho me pareció bien interesante, ya que a diferencia de los locales comerciales, ellos no tienen que pagar tantos impuestos, sino solo un permiso para poder colocar su puesto. Pero me imagino que le cobran a los compradores, lo que les cobra la policía por no molestarlos.

The market has that variety’s of goods, and there is never a time that we will see same in price, but we buy the goods we want, from one seller to another. Nicely capture phone pictures.

Hola, aquí en Caracas, hay que caminar y buscar precios, pero los buhoneros, en ocasiones venden mucho más caro que algunos comercios y ademas suben el precio del dólar, o cobran en euros.
It is really fun to visit such local markets. I don't know why these policemen take money from them, instead the authorities should make a specific place for these vendors so that they also can sell easily.

This post of yours made me remember last Sunday. I was accompanying the neighbor to do some shopping, and I came across a number of street vendors. It was market day and the streets were bursting, but more sellers than buyers. But the tasty thing about that peculiar walk was the smells of freshness. Fish, garlic, vegetables, chives, celery, a whole show for the nose. I was so entertained by what I was seeing that I overlooked taking some pictures. Maybe this Sunday I will repeat the walk.
