Last Splinterlands Season of the Year: Diamond II Progress, Rewards, and Investment Plans
Hello all Hive People & Splinterlands lovers,
We are in the last Splinterlands season of the year. The season will end with the end of year. I am paying in the Diamond II league now and claimed the Diamond III league rewards just now. Till now earned the 30,294 Glints and every winning battle reward with approximately 400 Glints. We have passed the one third of the season so in this way hopefully will earned more then 150K Glints by the end of the season. I am thinking of reinvestment the token earned form the game back into the game assets. I am holding good amount of SPS so will spend some SPS to purchase some NFT cards form the Soulkeep game. The Hero cards is missing form my collection so my first priority is to purchase at least one HERO NFT.
Above is the screenshot from the coingecko which shows the SPS price change in the last 3 months. The SPS price was slightly more then 0.01 USD one month ago which is in the mid of the November. I was expecting the price rise again as the Bitcoin is performed well in the December and touched the ATH. As I mentioned I am thinking of reinvesting SPS so will wait for the price to give upward move signal then only will make the purchase with the SPS tokens.
Bitcoin is again slightly below the 100K after hitting the all time high. At present when I was drafting the post the price was 99,396.72USD which is below the 100K but still up by 1.5% if compared with the 24 hour price change. Hope the Splinterlands assets will also show the up movement.
Auction House
100 days, 100 cards Auction was live form the past 43 days so we are very close to mid of the auction. In total 42 cards has been minted and out of that two were the Gold Foil card. The even is very successful as players has spend more then Total DEC / Credits : 72,731,805 in auctions. The last Gold foil mint was for 7,555,555 DEC and the first Gold Foil mint was approximately double the DEC i.e 14,000,000.
The another event LYRA & LORN’S in which players can purchase the
Ulfga the Blighted exclusive card with the Voucher token. This is first voucher only card available to purchase in the game after the big change in the Voucher tokenomics of the game.
Each card costs the 1500 vouchers and in I calculate the cost in USD (considering the Voucher price $0.0124365), then plyers has to spend the 18 USD per card for a normal foil. For make it to max level you need the 11 cards so a max level card will cost approximately 198 USD.
I guess the price is fair, considering its a legendary cards. I will share a separate post on price of card and will check if it will be profitable when going for a bulk purchase like more then purchase of 25 cards (which ensure one Gold Foil Version).
Reward Claim
I have advanced into the Diamond II league for received some chests as rewards i.e 10 Minor Chest, 07 Major Chest & 1 Ultimate Chest
Below are the screenshot form of rewards.
Form total 18 chests pulled the 8 Cards, 25 Potions: 25 & 1183 Merits (half Gladius Pack lol). With two type of rare cards I consider it as good pull.
