Hello DIYhubbers it’s that time of the week when I get to share my awesome drawing with you all🥰
Today, I will walk you guys through the entire creation process and I hope this helps someone out there.
Just a little story before I dive into the drawing proper.
I discovered a drawing hack, which might not be considered a hack to a lot of professional artists but for a beginner, it’s a a lifesaver.
Breaking objects into little shapes before adding details or designs to them. When you are able to get these multiple shapes bit by bit you’d be able to get the complete drawing in no time.
This hack makes complex images look very simple.
For a while now, I’ve been following a guy on Instagram, Lavi Arts. He simplifies his drawings in ways that a beginner wouldn’t be afraid to attempt.
For my drawing, I used the below materials and followed the below steps.
Materials
Sketch pad
2H pencil
4B pencil
Eraser
Black pen
Eraser
Procedure
Step 1:
I drew the umbrella first, and I made sure the strokes and curves on the umbrella were in order.
Step 2:
I proceeded to draw the dress of the unknown girl and drawing the dress was super easy.
Step 3:
Satisfied with the dress I drew the legs of the girl and this was pretty difficult as I tried my best to make them equal as there was no way one leg was going to be bigger or longer than the other.
Step 4:
I used my black pen to give the drawing a darker outline.
Step 5:
I shaded her dress, umbrella, and shoes with my pencil.
Step 5:
I drew the raindrops and shaded her dress and umbrella again to make my drawing more realistic and Ta-da!! My drawing was ready and I took pictures of it.
My favorite part of drawing is taking pictures, I think pictures kinda bring them to life.
What do you think about my drawing? Do you love it? Would you want to try it out or would you pass on it? 😃
All images are mine except otherwise stated.
