DIY Lovers Card

Valentine's Day is almost here and as we all know it's the season of love, where people get to appreciate their partners, and sometimes thinking of the perfect gift to give to your partner can be quite daunting.

While a lot of people think they need to get the most expensive things for their partners as proof of their love we forget the beauty in simple things.
There's nothing wrong with getting your partner expensive gifts, if you have the money, by all means, do so, while you are at it you can also decide to spice things up by adding those little hand-crafted beauties, nothing too loud, just filled with love and warmth😃

These little beauties which are crafted with so much love can be given to our loved ones and they definitely would be appreciated.

For the sake of Valentine's Day, I made a beautiful card, this card can be given to your partner and accompanied by any other gift that you wish to give them alongside.

I first saw this beautiful card on TikTok and I decided to make it. It’s super easy to make, anyone can make it and it's neither time-consuming nor expensive.

To achieve this beautiful card I followed the below steps.

Materials
Foam sheet
Paper
Pair of scissors
Pencil
Gum
Plaster
Pen
Ruler

Procedure

Step 1:
I started by measuring the required size for my card, not too big or too small.

Step 2:
I cut out the desired size of my card neatly and equally. I repeated the same process with my white paper but an inch smaller than the foam sheet.

Step 3:
Getting the desired size and shape of my card I went ahead to cut my plaster to my desired size and placed the two plasters on the white paper as this would represent two people in love.

Step 4
Satisfied with the plaster placement I added the features of my two lovers making sure to express how happy they are together.

Step 5:
What's a card without writing something sweet in it? I wrote what I wanted to write on the card and also decorated it with my pen and Voila! My simple card was created and I love every bit of it.
