DIY—I made some beautiful earrings

Hello guys 😁, trust you are having a beautiful September.

Depending on my friend's phone to be engaging on #hive can be challenging; in a way I am limited to constant engagement, but it is not an excuse after all. This is why I keep pushing till I get one for myself (that is just by the way 😃).

So last week Thursday I was thinking 🤔 about what earrings to wear to complement my black dress, which I was to use for a program I and my friends were to attend.

I thought of wearing gold earrings, but it wasn't suiting in my thought. I then thought of silver earrings, but I had the same reaction in my mind, so I decided to pursue the thought and focus on other things I had to do.

The next day, I went to the market with a friend to get some items, only for me to bump into a beautiful pink floral material, and that was it 😃😃😃. I had seen what I wanted; this is because the color for the program was pink.

Now the sweetest part of it all was that the seller of the material gifted it to me. Hold on 😃😃; let me explain better. There were some torn parts in the material due to the bale it came from, which was still ok for me. She then told me she wasn't selling it, that she was going to make a top with it, but I insisted I loved the material and I didn't mind buying it like that.

She asked how I wanted to pay, and I told her to call her subsidized price. At this point I was already lying down on some of the fabric she laid on the floor because I was tired, so she tired ate for a while while her girls were laughing at the way I lay down to rest, not minding them. The next word she said was, "You can take it," and I asked her for much, and she said, "Don't worry about the money; you can go with it." With amazement from me and my friend, we said thank you and left, still stunned about what happened and at the same time excited. So this is the story behind this beautiful piece of hearing. With that in mind, let's go to the making 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻.

Materials:

  • Scissors

  • Plier

  • Needle

  • Fabric

  • Earing hook

  • Glue

  • Hard paper

  • Ruler

  • Pen or pencil

Process:

Insert it into the hole and close back with the pliers, and there you have your beautiful earring.

To get the desired size, you want to measure your hard paper equally using any preferred measurement of your choice in a square format.

Stick the cut-out paper on the fabric using glue.

Cut out the material half inch away from the paper and leave out one end longer for full covering of the back

Carefully glue the material to the back, starting from the smaller sides and close lastly with the larger end

Make a hole with a needle at the tip of any of the sides

Open up the earring with pliers.

Insert it into the hole and close back with the pliers, and there you have your beautiful earring.

Here you go!
