Process of hoodie I made for my customer

Hi everyone, it's with great pleasure I welcome you to my blog.

I will like to share with you the lovely hoodie and trouser I made for a 2 year old boy

The mother brought a scuba material (which some people call "foam " material, to sew hoodie and trouser.

Firstly what's a hoodie?

Hoodie is a type of sweatshirt or jacket with an attached hood. It is popular for its comfort. The hood can be adjusted using a drawstring which allows the wearer to pull it tighter around the head for protection from cold weather, this is by choice because some prefer it without the drawstring.

The mother said I should not put any strings, I should just make it closed at the front. I took the measurement and proceeded to cut.

Measurement

Chest - 19

Trouser length -18

Thigh -9/6

I added extra 10 inches allowance to it, the chest and bust, so that it will be easy to wear and the material is also not stretchy

The sleeve is in form of a straight sleeve with band.

For the hoodie I made it into two so I can use one to turn the other in form of linen, I measured the neck wideness of the top, this is what I used in cutting the hoodie and I shaped it in a way to fit the head.

The trouser has pocket, an elastic casing of 3 inches, it has a band at the down part. I fixed the pocket and joined the sides, then I joined the crotch.
