I was thinking more about the continents, Australia, Asia, America, Africa. I believe that the Hive witness from, for example, Australia has his node in Australia.. But again, anything is possible🙂

Some do that... For example, I know that @forykw is running his @atexoras.witness Hive node from New Zealand...
Yep, like @ph1102 said, I have my hived node at home (along with other types of nodes). My first objective was because I was so far away from most nodes, that I really needed a better experience for myself (I am being very picky here, as I wanted "script" fast experience...). But during the process, I learned lots and could not been happier for having decided on that path.
