Good day, dear hivers! Finally, I'm so so back! I missed posting here so much! It felt illegal not to share a glimpse of my life here, my virtual diary. I've been very busy with a lot of things lately that I barely even have a free time. Now that I have so much to share, I think it's finally time to get back to my routine.
After graduation, I was so happy because I have come to realized that I will be having a very very long vacation ahead since I am an incoming freshman college. I really don't have major plans for my summer vacation since I am used to spending it in our house, lying in my bed all day. But I guess God gave me a reason to be productive.
For the first month of my vacation, I spent it mostly with my friends. We wanted to make the most out of this vacation because we know to ourselves that this might be the last time in a while that we will be able to spend longer time with each other and we will surely missed this moment. We decided to have a small business so that we don't just get to be with each other but we can also gain some money for our future expenses in college. I also spent more time with my family because I know to myself that I will gonna missed them so much by the time I am in college because they'll be kilometers away from me. And I thought my vacation will all just be this.
Not until I received news coming from my college university that we will be having a bridging class and it was for whole freaking two months. At first, I was so devastated because I made it fix already that I'm going to make this vacation a moment to spend more more time with my loved ones before college can have my fullest attention. But guess I can't stop this bridging class from happening.
With that, everything shifted quickly, I just found myself living in our boarding house with my two other high school friends, the very first time I was away from my family for so long. In the span of one week, a lot of changes happened.
I was living on my own now. I learned how to cook dishes I never tried cooking before, I was the one to do the groceries, I was the one budgeting my allowance, I started to be independent. But of course, it was never easy. I still yearned for my mother's presence every single day.
Still, I slowly got used to it. In our bridging class, I have met a lot of new faces and tried new environment, the very same experience I had encountered when I transferred to SRNHS back in senior high school. Weeks later, I was enjoying attending our bridging class. I have gained a lot of knowledge I never learned before and I was able to improve my skills in math as the day passed by. I couldn't be more prouder because I was able to make myself excell in every evaluation test.
What's amazing is that with all this bridging class thing, God never let me forget to still spent more time with my loved ones, even though I thought I cannot fulfill that vacation goal anymore. We've had so much fun celebrating my sister's birthday, watching sunset with my baby cousin, and having a roadtrip with my father. My heart was so full.
In this vacation, it's not just all about strengthening my connection with the people around me, it's also about having a healthy mental state. I found this app called Substack, where I can read a lot of articles. Whether it's about life, friendship, struggles, relationships and many more, I've read a lot of works that really inspired me and understand life deeply. In every article that I've read, I always relate to it and maybe you should try it too.
Also, during this vacation, I was able to go to places I have never been to. Firstly, I've been to my dream college university. It felt surreal walking around the campus when it used to be just my dream. It was a scenery that would never allow you to feel suffocated just because of how stressful college life can be. Instead, it gives you calmness because of its beauty.
Next, I've been to SM Consolacion, the first ever SM store I visited. I was really amazed by how big it was that you can never walk around it nonstop. I have visited national book store (it's definitely my favorite spot), where I found hundreds of wattpad books I've dreamed to see and hold in person. Now, I finally got to achieve that goal and it made me so emotional and I promised to myself that the next time I would come here, I would buy these books.
This week, our bridging class has come to an end. We've had our culmination and it was really fun. I was even recognized as one of the top performing student, which I never expected but it made so much proud of myself. I joined a lot of activities that's definitely tiring but so much worth it.
How I wish this moment never stop, but I know it's impossible. This vacation was the real vacation I've had for a while now and I will always cherish these memories. College greeted me in the most beautiful way I just hope it will never give me any hardships in the future.
Three weeks from now, I will officially be a first year college and I felt nothing but excitement. And of course, I can't wait to share more of my college era here with you, dear hivers!

That's it, dear hivers! Thank you so much for reading until the very end! Here's to more college life updates and see you in my next blog!
