Hello to all my dear friends and hivers here in this lovely community of @hiveph! This is me again, “LJ” to share my simple life story. How are you all today? I hope everyone is okay right now. It's been a month since I last posted here due to my busy schedule. And honestly, I really miss posting life blogs in this community.

Today felt a little gloomy because of the rainy weather, but still, it was a good workday. The sky was covered with thick dark gray clouds from the moment I woke up, and that kind of mood usually makes me want to stay longer in my bed and just throw myself under the fluffiness of my blanket. But since it's the first day of work, I had to follow my usual routine. I turned off the aircon, ate my breakfast, took a shower and once I am done with my overall preparations, I headed to school where I work, and face another day of paperwork and other stuffs to do.

Late in the morning, just before lunchtime, one of the teachers came by our office. She asked me if I wanted to buy some baked sushi made by her son. And of course, since it was my favorite, I did not even think twice. I bought 2 tubs, and she even included free seaweed. When she handed them to me, they were still warm and fresh from the oven since their house were just few meters away from our school. The smell alone was enough to make me hungry. I placed them on my table and kept glancing at them while finishing some tasks, excited to finally taste them later.

By the lunch break came, I decided to eat early. I opened the first tub, and the aroma instantly made me smile. It was creamy, savory, and just the right amount of spicy. I took a bite, wrapped in seaweed, and honestly, I almost finished everything in that tub for just one sitting. That's how good it was! Sometimes, food really does improve your mood, especially on gloomy days like this.

While I was finishing my meal, my nurse friend dropped by the office. She's always thoughtful, and today she brought me some choco crunchies which was my absolute favorite. Even though I am already full from the baked sushi, I took a piece and it made me even happier. Small surprises like this make an ordinary day feel special.

As I wrapped up my day, I realized that even though nothing grand happened, it was still filled with simple joys, from the warm baked sushi to the thoughtful treats from a friend. Gloomy weather or not, moments like these make an ordinary day feel soft and comforting. Sometimes, that's all we need to live a happy life!

And that’s it for today’s blog! Thank you for droppin’ by and reading my life story. I hope you enjoy it and see you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us!
