A Productive Friday of Ribbon-Making, Shared Laughter, and Warm Champorado Moments at School!

Hello to all of my friends here and of course to all my dear fellow hivers in this lovely @hiveph community!😍

How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing well and happy right now. Here I am again, @lj1728 to share another simple life story with you all.💕

Last Friday was a lighter day for me at work since I only had a few paperworks to finish. Because of that, I was able to help with something more hands-on and creative. I was a member of the Ribbon Committee to prepare the ribbons that will be used for our Recognition, Completion, and Graduation Rites on March 26 here in our school. It felt nice to be productive in a different way.

The ribbon committee is mostly composed of Non-Teaching Staff, and we decided to work in the clinic because it has a wider space where we could comfortably spread out our materials. We were given colorful ribbons, pins, scissors, double-sided tape, and glue guns. We also printed the ribbon head with labels with the titles for the awardees, parents, and for the faculty and staff. The clinic, which was usually quiet and reserved for students who are not feeling well, became lively that afternoon with our chatter and laughter.

As we carefully measured, cut, and assembled each ribbon, I realized how important our small task was. These ribbons may look simple, but they symbolize the hard work and achievements of our students. Every cut and every fold felt meaningful, knowing that each piece would soon be worn proudly by a child and a parent on stage.

While we were busy working, someone from the canteen announced that Champorado was available. That immediately caught our attention. We decided to take a short snack break and bought some bowls to enjoy together. I also bought a bear brand milk powder in a sachet because it tastes better with Champorado. I love how the creamy milk balances the rich chocolate flavor of the warm rice porridge.

We sat together in the clinic, holding our bowls of Champorado, chatting about the upcoming events and sharing little jokes in between bites. It was such a simple moment, yet it felt warm and comforting. After finishing our snack, we went back to making ribbons with renewed energy.
