Finally, received my Ex-changed Gift at the last Hiveph Christmas Party in 2022.

Last year, the Hiveph lead @adamada facilitated the exchange of gifts for the Christmas party. Not all community members were required to join but rather invited. You might wonder how it will work, as we are scattered in different regions in the Philippines. To enlighten everyone, this is how it goes;
Adam was the one who facilitated whom will your monita/monita. As far as I remember, he spun the names of wheels to come up with. In the Discord server, an additional channel for Wishlist to guide what you want to receive as a gift. The delivery address was also forwarded to him by the recipient. We know Adam was busy, so thanks much for facilitating! We appreciate it.

My Wishlist

As someone who seldom receives a gift, lol this idea excites me! Without a doubt, I leave a message that all I want is any mickey mouse items. Some of my friends here know that I am fond of this merchandise. Like I haven't outgrown this childlike attitude of mine.
Thus after a few days, I realized that whoever got my name might find it hard to buy something for me. Or it might give me something that I already have. Then I remembered that I had yet to buy a spoon, fork & teaspoon at home. I was focused on other utensils and essentials that I had forgotten about.
With that, I left a message saying these would be highly appreciated and, at the same, convenient to whoever she is.

The Christmas Party

It was celebrated Virtually, through voice call, big thanks to technology. I am still determining who got my name. I didn't bother knowing before as I wanted a surprise. Thus when it's @jude.villarta's turn, I was surprised to know she was my Secret Santa! Wow, so that explains why she responded to my second option.
Since the parcel is still on delivery, she just dropped a screenshot of delivery details as proof. Yes, details, but I didn't expect she forgot to cross out my full name!Haha, not that I wanted to be anonymous, but I just wanted to put a boundary in the online world VS in my life outside this platform. Now, everyone on the voice call knows my whereabouts, and funny as some thought I got Chinese blood. Why? It was because of my last name. Hehe, I don't, and that's my husband's surname.
Am I mad to Jude? Ahmmm no, not I have nothing to hide at least they know I am real and not a poser nor a scammer, lol. (pasalamat ka Jude mahal kita, kung hindi tusok ka,🤣🤣 ).

The Gift
It was the peak of the Christmas rush, and the delivery of parcels was delayed. We kept monitoring, and I even called several times at customer service, but no, it didn't help! Order was RTS (return to seller) as per the courier; after several attempts, they could not reach me. What the! The truth was, there was no delivery attempt.

Leaving JM with no choice but to request a refund and RE-order again. Thus, after almost a month of waiting, I finally Received the parcel earlier today.

I was so thrilled that I even took a picture and sent it on the Hiveph discord earlier.

And this is what Jude or we are fond of calling JM's gift.

YES! She granted me my wishlist! OMG! The cutlery set contains 5pcs of fork, spoon, teaspoon, and bread knife! Wow may pasobra!

It was perfect and indeed worth to wait! Though I was pressured, using these utensils seemed like I needed to always have something special on the table! Hehe.
