Hello everyone! As my brother and my childhood best friend started processing their wedding documents, I suddenly ask myself thinking about what kind of help I could give them. I wanted it to be something meaningful, not just for them, but also for the people who will celebrate their special day.
That's when an idea came to my mind.

I asked them, What if I make fruit seedlings as your wedding souvenirs? At first, they loved the idea, but they were also worried. They said preparing 100 seedlings might take too much time, especially because everyone is already busy with work and the wedding preparations.
I immediately told them, don’t worry. I'll take care of it.
This will be my gift to both of them.
Today, I officially started my journey. My goal is to prepare 100 fruit seedlings before their wedding. I don't need expensive plants. Even simple fruit trees can become meaningful gifts. I'm planning to collect mango, santol, marang, rambutan, calamansi, and pomelo seedlings. I also starting planting a durian and avocado from seeds because we eat sometimes and I keep some seeds.

The nice thing is that behind our farmhouse, we have a small creek where many young fruit trees naturally grow. This morning, I spent time walking around the area, looking for healthy seedlings that I can carefully transfer into planting bags. I was honestly so excited because every seedling I find brings me one step closer to reaching my goal.

Some of my friends asked me why I'm making myself even busier. They wondered if I could still finish everything. I just smiled because I believe that when you manage your time well, nothing is impossible. Yes, it takes effort, but when you're doing it for someone you love, it never feels like a burden.

While collecting seedlings, I also noticed that we have many banana shoots around the farm. I thought about using them as souvenirs too. Then I laughed because banana plants grow quite big! I wasn't sure if guests would appreciate receiving one. But honestly, if I were the guest, I would be happy. I would rather receive something I can plant and harvest someday than a souvenir that will just stay inside a drawer. But of course, its case to case when you buy fruit seedlings its so expensive.

This project also made me realize something. Maybe this simple idea could become a small business in the future. I enjoy gardening, and I love the thought of giving gifts that continue to grow for many years.

For me, fruit seedlings are more than wedding souvenirs. They symbolize love, growth, hope, and new beginnings just like a marriage.
I'm excited to continue this journey, and I will definitely share more updates about my brother's wedding preparations here in this community.
Now I'm curious...

If you attended a wedding and received a fruit seedling as a souvenir, would you be happy? What fruit tree would you love to receive?
