2 for the Price of None

Hello Hivians and all you beer lovers.

It's Saturday nope, it's actually fluffing Monday afternoon when UI am getting around to finishing this post and hitting publish! It was Saturday afternoon when I started! Which means it's #beersaturday, well for me at least it does!

And what a weekend it has been! The old four seasons in one day malarky!

Saturday's Beer Saturday

We were in town on Saturday so started off with a Scottish Breakfast...

They do have pretty branded glasses!

Did you see the blue halo glass effect?

The clam before the storm. At this point it was five past eleven in the morning, the sun and blue clouds that we followed on our walk to the pub had vanished...

Cheers to the food or the breakfast part of the Scottish Breafast I will point out that mine was a Large Scottish Breakfast.

Actually I ended up drinking more coffee than beer 🤣

Apparantly this was quite a nice sauce, as I was asked to take a picture of it..

So here for posterity is a picture of Heinz Classic Barbecue Smokey & Rich!

I, although a saucy person, am not that big on sauce on my foods, unless you need to disguise the taste!

For the UK readers, I am sure you recognise the distinctive design on the plates!

The Beers ...

First up we had the Mexican staple lager Corona Extra and then a pint of Bud Light. For a morning pint, they were fine enough, I must admit the concensus was that Bud Light tastes better than Bud!

My Verdict

As it was all free, my verdict does not really matter that much, it all did the job before an afternoon of being out and about!
