BEERSATURDAY 394: STORIES FROM THE PAST 3/4 / BEERSATURDAY 394: HISTÓRIAS DO PASSADO 3/4 (EN/PT)

|EN|

Hello fellow beer lovers, on my trip I've been observing a little bit of everything, including the way people enjoy their beers. Watching a tourist filling his glass with beer, I remembered the past, he fills his glass with a slight tilt, making the liquid fall smoothly into the glass, something I've done in the past.

Today, I took the opportunity to drink a SKOL pilsen beer and did some crazy tests remembering the past, I really found that filling the glass gently minimizes the amount of foam.

When I stop to remember the past, I think of some colleagues with peculiar customs, one crazy guy removed the foam from the beer glass with a spoon, because he said that the foam made you fat, while another crazy guy collected all the foam in a glass to drink, because it was good for gaining fat and transforming it into muscle mass at the gym.

Humans like to invent situations, and beer was no exception. There used to be a bar that used beer to create ice. After customers had consumed the contents, they would wash the beer can and fill it with water. When you asked for ice, they would give you a beer can. I don't see these crazy things anymore.

Have you ever witnessed any crazy situations or crazy rituals before drinking/enjoying our beloved beers? Comment below!

This is #BeerSaturday week and I would like to invite @lobaobh to write a post in any language about beer with at least 3 pictures.

All content, pics and editions are my authorship.

But then... how do you usually pour your beer now? have you stopped doing it smoothly and tilting the glass? hahaha if you have a trick then share it hahaha.

Hey your college buddies are pretty crazy hahahaha.
What happened to eating chicken and pasta to gain energy? xD Although what the bar guys did, filling the cans with water to make ice, I do find it useful.

Have a great time, cheers!

Good afternoon, first of all I apologize for the delay in responding, I'm on vacation, spending 30 days away, I'm barely getting into HIVE these days. I'll answer in sequence:

  1. I stopped worrying about turning the beer to serve it without foam, it ended up becoming something obsolete, I've been enjoying everything about this golden liquid. Age ended up making certain tricks disappear, I think I've matured.
  2. My colleagues are still crazy, hahahahahaa, but I ended up distancing myself from most of them, today I have a group of colleagues who have similar tastes, practically all of them are married. There are one or two who aren't, but they're usually someone's brothers or sisters. I don't know if they still do that about the pasta. About the water in the beers, the bar went bankrupt, I've never seen it anywhere else.

Thank you for the message and once again I apologize, I'll normalize my posts and comments next week.

A virtual hug!
