RE: Who will be the next beer friends beer king or beer queen

Changing the behavior of a token is bad enough but doing so without warning those who paid to buy it is not right.

Please read bofore write.

The @beerlover post was there before the changes and most of the people read the @beerlover posts as this is - since the creation of the token - the source of information for the community.

We try to be as transparent as possible,

Thanks for the good idea to add this link to the @beerlover comments and therefore a !BEER from me.

BTW: As BEER was one of the first community token, it was "normal" that people used the token that way. Now, as we have more token, people think many is better than one.

Thanks for the beer!

I understand that you posted the change, but tell the truth, do you check the user agreement on your credit card on a daily basis after you begin to use the card? Most people likely don't even read it the first time, when they first receive the card. So why do you expect purchasers of the beer token to go back and regularly check to see if you changed the rules of a cryptocurrency token that is supposed to be immutable and never change?

The way I see it, there is a contract made between a buyer and a seller. To change the rules after the sale is unethical. That would be like buying a car and later having the car dealership come and take your tires because now they are not considered part of the car.

Besides, don't you want people using your tokens? Putting restrictions on their use simply limits the number of times people will use it. The less it is used, the sooner people forget it exists and less new users will come to discover it by seeing it being given out. People are much like sheep and follow the crowd. If they see beer being handed out everywhere, they want to be part of it. If they no longer see beer anywhere, they soon forget about it and your token dies.

Perhaps I'm missing some key information, but that's my understanding of it.
