Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

I hope this weekend has been treating you well! Our Caturday update is a bit late this weekend due to "extenuating circumstances," but better late than never, right?

You see, the Mom-Hooman got sick at the beginning of the week, and then had an exceptionally vivious flare-up of her "sciatica" meaning she has pretty much been confined to sitting in an armchair for the past five day.

Consequently, the Dad-Hooman has been combining his work with being "hope helper" and making sure she has what she needs.

We cats have been lined up in her vicinity, because jumping in her lap is really not a welcome option, at the moment.

As you might know, cats are very psychic and empathic... and we can sense when someone is in pain and/or not feeling well. And the Mom-Hooman was really not doing well.

Of course, she has had this happen before, so at least we have some sense not only of what it is, but also of how long before things get better.

We expect her to at least be able to move around without being in pain, towards the middle of this week.

Shangri would just as well forget about it all...

Other than that, we are in the middle of one of our hot and sunny periods, around here. Since houses in our part of the world generally do not have air conditioning, it gets rather warm in the house by mid-afternoon, and the best thing we can do is take naps!

The Hoomans have placed box fans in a couple of the windows to keep the air flowing, and that does help a little.

Otherwise, it has been a fairly quiet week around here. With the Mom-Hooman out of commission, and the Dad-Hooman spending a lot of time helping her, there have been no particular events.

Next Caturday, however, also coincides with the Dad-Hooman having his birthday, although I don't expect there will be much happening, other than a nice dinner. And extra cat treats!

And so, we come to the close of another week... not particularly great in the crypto world, or anywhere else, for that matter. Even so, I hope yours was a good one!
