Un viaje a un rincón de mi corazón

Estos últimos días me han pasado cosas que me han permitido reconectar fuertemente con mi país o con mi historia de vida allá. Recuerdos de otras personas y propios han sido un viaje de la imaginación por climas, sensaciones, personas, actividades...
Yo tengo cuidado con la nostalgia porque a veces es traicionera. Te permite revivir, recordar, valorar... pero al mismo tiempo, puede traer consigo solo momentos muy específicos, aumentándoles su valor, y otros son completamente olvidados. Es lo que ocurre con la creencia de que "hubo tiempos mejores". Aunque no podamos saber a ciencia cierta esto, lo que sabemos es que cualquier temporada de la vida va a tener sus momentos de subidas y bajadas.
De todos modos, el recordar con mucho valor ciertas cosas específicas de "allá", me hizo desenpolvar un cofrecito arrinconado en una esquina de mi corazón, el de momentos bonitos llenos de experiencias, de rutina, de familia y amigos, risas y mucho amor

These last days things have happened to me that have allowed me to reconnect strongly with my country or with my life history there. Memories of other people and my own have been a journey of imagination through climates, sensations, people, activities....
I am careful with nostalgia because sometimes it is treacherous. It allows you to relive, to remember, to value... but at the same time, it can bring with it only very specific moments, increasing their value, and others are completely forgotten. This is what happens with the belief that “there were better times”. Although we cannot know this for certain, what we do know is that any season of life will have its ups and downs.
Anyway, remembering with great courage certain specific things from “back there”, made me dust off a little chest hidden in a corner of my heart, the one of beautiful moments full of experiences, routine, family and friends, laughter and lots of love.
