terapia de pareja

Hoy termino un curso de terapia de pareja y me pareció muy interesante pensarme la sesión no solo para una persona sino para dos, y ese tercer elemento, la interacción entre ellos. Definitivamente, este tipo de terapia reepresenta un desafío para los terapeutas, pero al mismo tiempo, estoy segura que será una fuente importante de crecimiento y satisfacción del ejercicio profesional. La reparación y reconciliación de la pareja puede ser uno de los objetivos, pero no necesariamente el único. La idea será evaluar flexiblemente el punto en el que se encuentran ahora mismo, escuchar sus expectativas, y trabajar en función de lo que necesiten, en algunos casos, el cierre de la relación, de forma compasiva y respetuosa, también puede ser una opción válida para encaminar nuestro trabajo con la pareja que consulta.

Today I finished a course on couples therapy, and I found it very interesting to think about the session not only for one person but for two, and that third element, the interaction between them. Definitely, this type of therapy represents a challenge for therapists, but at the same time, I am sure it will be an important source of growth and satisfaction in professional practice. Repairing and reconciling the couple may be one of the objectives, but not necessarily the only one. The idea will be to flexibly assess where they are right now, listen to their expectations, and work according to what they need. In some cases, ending the relationship in a compassionate and respectful way may also be a valid option for guiding our work with the couple seeking counseling.
