You remind me of women in the street,
some poet said
in Cindy's book.
A black and white book
with windmills to the blues
to write about Don Quixote.
She didn't write the part about Don Quixote,
nor the blues
that lingers in sleeplessness
like scars of flowers.

Me recuerdas mujeres en la calle,
dijo algún poeta
en el libro de Cindy.
Un libro en blanco y negro
con molinos al blues
para escribir sobre el Quijote.
Lo del Quijote,
no lo escribió ella,
tampoco el blues
que permanece en el insomnio
como cicatrices de flores.
