RE: Its much cheaper to just complain

I read your post before going to bed. I wanted to make a reply about not getting disenfranchised. But then I realised that I too have felt that way about Hive in the past.

Sometimes, I still feel that way - like when I pour a lot of effort into a post and get no replies or engagement at all.

I could complain about it, but then I realise, no one would be keen to read that complaining.

So I go back to thinking about what brings me to HIVE.

Its me. I do my writing for me. If other people want to engage with it, cool. If they don't, that's okay, they're just missing out on what I think is some pretty awesome stuff.

I left this reply so I could see what your other followers said in the comments. I'm glad they're here too.

What I think I'm trying to say is this - it's okay to be selfish - its okay to do something for yourself, but it is totally not okay to sacrifice your own values for the benefit of others.
