Throw back to my parents send forth in church

Hello throwback community it's been awhile @jesuslnrs trust you are well and your family is too.
I honestly thought I could write and heal at the same time but other activities of life caught up with me leaving me busy and having a lot to take care of generally.
With everything that happened to us my brother's death and the police not doing anything about it the company not taking any responsibility.
My parents decided to relocate from Lagos to our home town so the could heal well and try to forget all that has happened.
Being elders in the church they went to inform the head pastor of their intentions to leave Lagos and the church began actives to send them both home in a grand style.
We didn't want any big as the cost from the moving company was already on the night side so we just told close friends and they did want to draw attention to themselves as well they wanted to leave without any noise or party but my head pastor wasn't going to have that happen.
Not understand his watch.
My parents have been long standing members of Assemblies of God Church they won't just allow them go without being honored by other members or close friends.
The fixed the date for 2nd of August and the entire church started planning raising funds and looking at how to honor tow couples that have been through a lot and want to go rest in their home town.
When the date came churcj was filled up I managed to reach his and my mom's close family and friends that I could reach and they came with loads of smiles and goodies making the event a special one. We had to invite our pasted Pastor who had retired to be around as he was stationed with the church for 6 years before our present pastor who also had know my parents from way way back. Service to God doesn't mean lack of recognition or love.
The message my parents were told to hold on to is what I will typ next.
No matter what life throws at you always know it didn't take God unaware. His very aware and he will do what He ought to do. Don't help God.

After the words of exaltation. It was time for testimonies about them dancing and taking of pictures.
It's was a very emotional service for me I had to step outside most of the service because the testimonies were touching and real.
Service ended and some friends came home to lighten the mood.
