It can be so frustrating for those updates some times. And the darn login restrictions. I had a similar issue once where I couldn't remember the password to login and it restricted my flight altitude. A minor irritation for all the joy and fun it brings though. I get exactly what you mean by how cool it is to discover new things and little hidden places with the drone that you wouldn't normally see.

I’ll be honest, this update had already been requested by the app on three other occasions when I flew the drone. I just always seem to remember it right when I’m about to take off, usually in places with no internet signal lol.
About the restriction, I remember once I went to take some photos for a friend and couldn’t fly the drone higher than 10 meters hah. Sometimes it’s really frustrating, but the whole experience is still worth it!
