Autonomy is scary for those who relies on the business model of dependency. They don't want you to learn what it takes to make the same products because dor most of it, it's just cheaper and more efficient and just as effective as theirs. But since they got rid of your ancestors knowledge within a few generations, you now depend on their big brands to get the same.
Damn shame practical knowledge doesn't get passed down as often as it used to. It uses to be everyone made their own soaps. Now you rely on big corp to make it for you. It's no wonder more and more children are believing food comes from the store rather than the ground through homestead farming.
Maybe it's about time we started pushing back against the monopoly and start reading a few books on practical solutions. It will save your budgets on the long run and maybe you can finally get that chopper you always wanted if only you made your own products instead.
Freedom isn't going to be found in aisle #12 at the supermarket.
