(edited)Without following the drama pre and post this announcement (I'm sure there must be some), I believe the decision made was relatively balanced given the circumstances. Hopefully, in season 2 the role of an alliance and its limits will be better defined, when pursuing common goals. I like to play this kind of games cooperatively, but I have no problem being a lone wolf (more or less), if that's what's required to stay within the rules - in a way it's easier, because you just worry about your own development and decisions.
Overall a fun season. Had a great time with my teammates! Let's see what we all learned for season 2 and how that will be.

The wording could have been a little better... With or without the rule thing, @pharesim played a fantastic game, and could have deserved more than a <<stiff "slap on the wrist">> (not talking about prizes here). But I guess the admins had to navigate different view points and emotions the best they could...
