The #SaturdaySavers programme run with huge dedication and commitment by @shanibeer came to an end with the close of 2025.
But there are a couple of initiatives to keep the motivation going !
I've decided to post them in the BusyBees Community. This is a community set up to support @zakludick's tireless work in encouraging and teaching newer Hive users. Additionally, I'm adding the #SlothlySavers tag and linking my updates in their weekly update post, because that's another place where former #SaturdaySavers are gravitating to.

Here's a screenshot of last week's progress;

For all my good intentions, I didn't post a lot last week ! It was just one of those crazy weeks where everyone in real life wanted a piece of me, and I found my time had just gone without trace.
But on the upside, the previous week's activity meant I earned a respectable 139 HIVE and HP.
On a more macro level, crypto market sentiment turned positive, and HIVE was carried up on the rising tide. That caused the debt level to drop to 25.96%, a move of 3 percentage points. That's useful data, because it suggests that (at least in these kinds of range) the Hive debt will move by around 3% for every £0.005 of price movement, in either direction.
Sterling has strengthened slightly against the US Dollar. That reduces the value of crypto holdings measured in dollars, but also reduces the amplitude of price swings for dollar-denominated investments.
Looking forward to next week, there are a number of geopolitical items in play which may or may not impact market sentiment. Probably the biggest is how the markets will react to the very public falling out between Canada and the US following the collapse of trade talks. There is also Donald Trump's declaration of an "economic D-Day" against Iran. It is hard to see that the US will be able to apply additional sanctions to a country which is already one of the most sanctioned in the world, but a number of countries are reacting very angrily to the threat of illegal secondary sanctions. Finally, the war between Russia and Ukraine is showing increasing signs of escalating sharply, and here in the UK a few of us are wondering what form Russian retaliation will take as it is revealed that most of the long range drones Ukraine is using are manufactured here.
We live in interesting times, and my solution is... keep stacking ! 😁
