The #SaturdaySavers programme run with huge dedication and commitment by @shanibeer came to an end with the close of 2025.
But there are a couple of initiatives to keep the motivation going !
I've decided to post them in the BusyBees Community. This is a community set up to support @zakludick's tireless work in encouraging and teaching newer Hive users. Additionally, I'm adding the #SlothlySavers tag and linking my updates in their weekly update post, because that's another place where former #SaturdaySavers are gravitating to.

Here's a screenshot of last week's progress;

For a week where I only made a couple of posts, I was pleasantly surprised by my Hive Power earnings ! I think it's a combination of good curation earnings (thank you, the Hard Fork !) and rewards coming in from a couple of posts over the New Year period when lots of people were at home with nothing better to do than sleep off the hangovers and upvote stuff.
As mentioned in my initial Week 1 goal setting post, don't expect the maths in the screenshot above to add up - there are lots of hidden rows to account for HIVE on exchanges etc 😁
Rebuilding my HBD stack after pulling all down and converting most of it to HIVE is going to be a long haul. 400 HBD from it is currently sat on HiveDex, tied up in a trade effectively as a stop-loss so that I don't get hit by a haircut if there is another sudden price drop.
But it looks like HIVE might be starting the slow slog back up the graph to a higher general price. It's early days yet, and the world is chaotic enough that anything could tip the markets, but I'm hopeful we'll see enough of a gain that I can cash out at least a little bit of my initial investment.
I've realised I have been a bit inconsistent with the way I set up my spreadsheet, because my HP figure has a starting value which includes my January 1st HPUD power up, but my VESTS figure doesn't include that. Oh well, it'll sort itself out over the course of the year ! The goal is what matters, and has been set taking this into account.
So that's it for this week from me. I hope you all have ones just as good, and Happy Saving, my friends ! 😀
